We create Event Marketing Assets out of ideas for our clients. Amongst these Assets we activate global brands through integrated marketing and partnership activation campaigns, custom designed to maximise our clients brand exposure.

The Opportunity:
Our dynamic, fast-paced and unique workspace requires a Project Manager to join our current team in delivering event marketing campaigns for various clients. We are looking for a diligent person who is organized, self-motivated, and can lead a project from start to finish. The Project Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

MAJOR DUTIES

The right candidate will need to have a high level of understanding of Event Marketing, timing and a good handle on budget management.

The position will require a detailed approach and stakeholder management to ensure all Projects are brought together in line with the world-class standards of The Shift.

Depending on the project, the Project Manager will need to be across some or all of the below elements of the Project:

– Client Management and reporting
– Event Operations and Logistics
– Strategic planning of campaigns
– Creating Marketing Assets (assisted by our Marketing Coordinator)

The Project Manager will be allocated Projects in line with working hours and specific skills required to implement the Project.

GENERAL DUTIES

Client & Project Team Management: Update and attend regular WIP meetings with clients.

Budget Management: Ensure budget is updated and regularly reported to the Director. Manage cash flow forecast submissions to clients on a monthly basis.

Event Staff Logistics: Manage ongoing relationship with staffing agencies. Manage team members to allocate positions and liaise with Core Crew and Day Staff. Book Flights / Accommodation and Car Hire, manage invoicing.

Stakeholder/Supplier Management: Prepare event documentation: Liaise with councils, blue light agencies and other stakeholders to ensure events are pre-planned and have the correct permissions required to run each event.

Working with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers to execute a safe and well run event. Suppliers may include but not limited to:
• Traffic Management
• Security
• Infrastructure
• Branding
• Freight / Logistics
• Staffing

Event Attendance: Attendance at some events will be required. Days in lieu will be provided.

Event Duties: Providing documentation (folders – hardcopy and/or digital) to the events team to execute events. If applicable.

Growth and Development: Working with Directors and clients to plan and execute strategy to grow both projects.

Process Development: Assist The Shift in developing processes to implement projects for future growth.

Sponsorship Management: From time to time you may need to work with sponsors to activate their brand at our events. Yearly review: Providing a yearly review of the Project to Directors with recommendations for changes.

Sustainable Events: We are committed to providing eco-friendly and sustainable events. We would expect the Project Manager to join us in this and provide input on our events having a smaller environmental impact. Project Managers are required to implement a minimum of two UN Sustainability Development Goals. for every event they manage.

Project Managers Incorporate The Shift sustainability objectives and targets into projects, programs and services. Within the scope of your position comply with sustainable principles when procuring goods and services on behalf of The shift. We ask that you promote and participate in a culture of sustainability.

Project review: Providing a post project review of the Project to Directors with recommendations for changes.

• Permanent Full Time or 4 days
• 8am – 4pm
• 3 days mandatory in the office
• $87,600 inc super (Pro-rata if 4 days)

Qualifications/Experience:
• Must have 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Project Management Role
•. Mass Participation Experience Desirable
• Competent user of Microsoft Word / Excel / Illustrator
• The ability to work in a team and also work autonomously
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with multiple
stakeholders
